About Geronimo

Brother Geronimo Pflantzbaum is a native of Washington, D.C. who graduated from Deep Springs CollegeHe never completed a bachelor’s degree, he has been banned from several locations in the area during some of his more colorful escapades, and he has been to jail and various mental hospitals in D.C. and Montgomery CountyBy the grace of God, Geronimo does not regret his past, as it has all contributed to who he is today and what he joyfully offers to his communityIt took Brother G 15 years after high school to earn his AA in General Studies (from Montgomery College, Takoma Park, MD)It took him 17 more years of intense post-graduate study to earn his Brother of Theology (FFRS) from the School of Rough & Tumble (in Truth or Damnation, NM)Geronimo lives, works and leads services at Breaking Wave Oasis, a sanctuary enclave on the edge of Olde Towne Gaithersburg. He likes cooking, preaching the Gospel, and helping underserved members of our community

BG also enjoys sitting with the Earth and listening to nature in the neighborhood. These sounds include birdsong, laughter, and the church bells from nearby Grace Methodist
